Art Basel | Nowness

One of my favourite things is being tasked with creating a series as coverage during a live event. In this case, it was documenting the heart of 2010 Art Basel in Miami Beach. Together with my directing partner, Crystal Moselle, we both set out to curate a range of art stars of the moment — from KAWS to the legendary John Baldessari.

The videos were filmed and edited quickly, within 24 hours, and aired on the luxury website Nowness for LVHM. The result was instant digital profiles freshly shared during the same week as the prestigious Art Festival. For this particular series, we asked each artist one burning question — “What is it that Makes You Feel Alive?”
